Ex-professionals Erich Klann and Oana Nechiti rate Ekaterina Leonova

Sweat, tears and pain: The “Let’s Dance” professionals demand everything from their protégés in training in order to ultimately secure the title “Dancing Star”. Valentin Lusin, 36, and Anna Ermakova, 22, as well as Patricija Ionel, 28, and Philipp Boy, 35, have good chances of winning this year. But Ekaterina Leonova, 35, is also known for her ambition. She won three times in a row: 2017 with Gil Ofarim, 40, 2018 with Ingolf Lück, 64, and 2019 with Pascal Hens, 42. This year she is on stage with Timon Krause, 28, and seems to be overshooting the mark a bit, as Erich Klann and Oana Nechiti, both 35, observed.

In their podcast “Dance or not at all”, the ex-stars have made the work of Ekaterina Leonova this time. And both are initially enthusiastic about their former colleague. Erich emphasizes: “It was very energetic, it was a lot of choreography and also much better.” His wife shares this opinion: “I thought it was a very successful production and choreo this week. She implemented it really nicely. I had this feeling with Ekat: Now I’m really attacking.” And then there is still a hidden criticism in her statement. “She wasn’t so dogged anymore. Last week she seemed very dogged to me,” Oana evaluates Ekaterina Leonova’s appearance.
