THE Level-5 Vision 2023 II was the studio’s second presentation of the year, apart from its strong presence during a Nintendo Direct and its announcements to TGS 2023and allowed us to learn more about part of the catalog of upcoming games. Professor Layton and the New Steam World, Decapolice, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, Megaton Musashi: Wired And Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road all had their moment of attention, as did Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble (Punished Punished in Japan) which celebrated its 8th anniversary last October. A final announcement served as a conclusion, in order to set a next meeting with the players, but that is clearly not what we thought of from the outset.
Indeed, Akihiro Hino wanted to show us what will follow for Level-5A one more thing in the form of “what’s next”. A maneki-neko then appeared on the screen, then a spirit took possession of this porcelain cat, transforming it into a very cute and colorful creature that we had never seen until now, all against a background of music with sounds reminiscent of a certain license… Obviously, we only expected one thing, the revelation of a Yo-kai Watch 5, but it was nothing of the sort.
Instead of that, a Level-5 Vision 2024: To the World’s Children has been unveiled, a presentation planned for April 2024 and which should therefore be aimed at children around the world. But obviously, the highlighting of this funny character who could perfectly replace Jibanyan is nothing trivial. Information on the games that will be released in 2024 will be given there and an entirely new game will be introduced. You will have understood, everything suggests that the successor of Yo-kai Watch 4unfortunately never released by us, and for less reason Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Yshould finally show up.
