June 15 (Reuters) – La France insoumise (LFI) published on Friday evening the list of its candidates for the early legislative elections of June 30 and July 7 in France.
The left-wing parties, including LFI, agreed on Thursday on a common program and on the distribution of constituencies for the early legislative elections under the banner of a “New Popular Front”.
“The political agreement reached by France Insoumise with the components of the New Popular Front allows us to be represented in 230 constituencies,” LFI said on its website.
Among the candidates nominated by the party in its constituencies include Manuel Bompard, Eric Coquerel, François Ruffin, Mathilde Panot, Clémentine Autain and Adrien Quatennens.
“To those who oppose or doubt the relevance of my candidacy, know that I understand you. I simply hope to be able, humbly, and through my actions, to regain your trust,” wrote Adrien Quatennens in a press release released on X.
Adrien Quatennens was sentenced in 2022 to four months of suspended imprisonment for domestic violence.
Certain members of LFI considered to be “rebellious”, such as Raquel Garrido, Danielle Simonnet or Alexis Corbière, were dismissed.

Danielle Simonnet denounced a “purge of deputies committed to unity” and Alexis Corbière for his part judged to have received “a punishment for having voiced internal criticism”.
