To better understand the offer

  • Why is the C1 range still very popular today?

After LG’s new announcements during CES 2022, the televisions of the previous year are giving way… Yet the C1 range for the year 2021 has succeeded in becoming a benchmark, if not the best, of OLED televisions. In this good plan, it is the smallest model: 48 inches. This diagonal remains largely sufficient to comfortably view all possible content. Especially since it will be ideal for small interiors.

We are entitled to an ultra-thin and elegant design from all angles. This television will easily fit into your interior, whether on a piece of furniture or hung on a wall. As for its OLED panel, it provides infinite contrasts, deep blacks and very good color calibration. Otherwise, the TV also offers compatibility with Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10 (but not HDR10+), as well as Dolby Atmos for very immersive sound. And on the performance side, the model is powered by the Alpha 9 Gen 4 AI 4K processor, which brings a small boost in power compared to the previous generation. What to take advantage of a very good optimization of the contents, as well as good adjustments in the level of the sound.

  • Is it suitable for gaming use?

It is good to know that this model will also be ideal for playing video games. This television is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 connection which allows 4K at 120 FPS and supports variable refresh rate (VRR), practical for combating screen tearing, or tearing. There is also AMD Freesync and Nvidia G-Sync to always benefit from a smooth frame rate for your games. The TV C1 will therefore be particularly suitable for next-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X). In addition, the screen will be refreshed at 100 Hz, which is more than enough to enjoy a nice fluidity. And that’s not all: we can also count on a low response rate of only 1 ms.

Like the Korean brand’s other televisions, the TV C1 is a SmartTV that runs on the WebOS (6.0) operating system, which stands out for its fluidity and intuitiveness. Of course, there are the flagship applications, such as Netflix, Prime or YouTube. The 48C1 model is also compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and HomeKit, to take advantage of voice control. Finally, it is also possible to stream content from your smartphone, via Miracast or AirPlay 2.
