(CercleFinance.com) – ABB and Lhyfe announce a collaboration with Skyborn to jointly realize and optimize the SoutH2Port renewable hydrogen project, which will be located near the future Storgrundet offshore wind farm in Sweden.
Using its automation, electrical and digital technologies, ABB will lead the large-scale integration of renewable hydrogen production from offshore wind energy into the project’s Power-to-X conversion system.
Once fully operational, SoutH2port is expected to produce around 240 tonnes of hydrogen per day, equivalent to around 1.8 million barrels of oil per year, with an installed capacity of 600 MW.
