Liam Payne had to go to hospital with a serious kidney infection. His girlfriend now gives the all-clear: he is doing much better.
Fans of Liam Payne (30) can breathe a sigh of relief: the former singer of the band “One Direction” is doing much better after his serious kidney infection. This was what his girlfriend Kate Cassidy (25) gave announced in a TikTok video.
“I’ve been getting a lot of comments and messages about Liam, people asking how he’s doing. And I want to let you all know that he’s doing so much better,” Kate explains.
Liam, according to the US influencer, has been released from the hospital and is now on the mend: “He is in good hands.”
The British singer had spent a weekend at Lake Como in Italy with his girlfriend and had been taken to hospital by ambulance due to “excruciating kidney pain”.. Doctors had told the 30-year-old that he had to stay there for the time being as they needed to carry out a series of tests.
Already the second time in the hospital
It wasn’t the first time that the father of a son was in a clinic because of kidney pain: According to his own statements, he had to go to the hospital with similar complaints in August and even canceled his planned South American tour.
In a video, which he posted on X (formerly Twitter) on August 25the, he apologized to his fans: “I was so happy to come and play for you. To everyone who has already bought tickets: I’m sorry. But the doctors’ instructions now are that I take it easy to recover.”
Liam Payne had a video in July on his YouTube channell published in which he talked about his time in a rehab clinic in the USA. He spent 100 days in the facility and was “sober for almost six months.”
