Square Enix has just announced the release of a new collection of its Life is Strange franchise. Title Life is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection, it refers to the fictitious city where the first 2 games of the license take place, Arcadia Bay. Logical since it actually includes the remastered versions of Life is Strange and of Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Scheduled for September 27, 2022, the collection marks the arrival of these two titles on Nintendo Switch.
In the first game, the story follows a certain Max, a photography student at Arcadia Bay, who discovers that she has a faculty not quite like the others. It can go back in time for short periods. A very useful power to reconsider sometimes difficult choices that she will have to make during her adventure.
The plot of the second title still takes place in Arcadia Bay, but this time, three years before the events of Life is Strange. We follow the young Chloe Price, aged 16, who is going through a dark period of her adolescence. The story shows us the budding relationship between Chloe and Rachel Amber, and how Rachel’s arrival impacts her life.
Both games feature stories with multiple endings. Everything will therefore depend on the choices you make during the adventure, and their consequences.
