Lifesaver – 22 adults and seven-year-old Amelie honored

“This medal is of great value!” is what many say when it comes to honoring lifesavers. On Monday, 23 lifesavers were brought in front of the curtain in the state government’s Hall of Mirrors.

“It is a very extraordinary moment that puts lifeguards at the center of a celebration in the state of Carinthia, which is also made very clear by the presence of a total of four representatives of the Carinthian state government,” said Governor Peter Kaiser, who with LHStv Beate Prettner as well as State Councilors Daniel Fellner and Sebastian Schuschnig awarded the Cross of Honor for saving lives. Honoring people who have saved the lives of others is always something very special, because everyone knows how difficult it is to do exactly the right thing in such situations. Kaiser thanked everyone on behalf of the state and the Carinthian state government for being willing to take high personal risks to save other lives. Kaiser: “I am particularly pleased that so many young people have also achieved something valuable and important.” .Eugen Klarer sen.Anna Wesiak, policewoman Tobias Oblak, policemanJacqueline Eiper, ÖWRChristine Flaschberger, ÖWRNikolaj Netrval, ÖWRGerold Rössler, ÖWRChristoph Haas, FF FöderlachJoachim Kerschbaumer, FF FöderlachHerbert Ramusch, FF FöderlachJohann Ramusch, FF FöderlachLukas Stockenbojer, FF FödersteinerlachStefan Tröthan FF FöderlachMarkus Warmuth, FF FöderlachThomas Warmuth, FF FöderlachKlaus Weissensteiner, FF Föderlach
