The streets were full of young faces, beats could be heard on many corners: for three days, Bad Gastein was transformed into a center for music, club culture, wellness and partying at the ski hut. The celebrations took place under chandeliers in the renowned Grand Hotel l’Europe, at a pool session in the Felsentherme and the music also boomed on the mountains. According to the tourism association, it is an attempt for the place to stay in the conversation in January, when there are traditionally few visitors. The concept seems to be working: the 1,000 tickets for the Grand Lighthouse Festival were already sold in advance. And there was consistently positive feedback from festival visitors.
