  • The submarine manufacturer Worx presents the Nexus model with an electric drive.
  • The batteries allow up to ten dives per day or continuous operation of up to 18 hours.
  • The Dutch manufacturer also repeatedly attracts attention with its extraordinary submarine design.

Even those who have never thought of diving in a submarine are interested in the Worx Nexus. The deep-sea vessel looks like a spaceship from another planet, a rescue capsule.

A maximum of nine people (six adults, a pilot and two children) can be accommodated in comfortable seats behind the glass dome and enjoy the silent gliding under water. The seats can be moved and adjusted at the touch of a button, so that the best view is always guaranteed. Thanks to massive lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 62 kilowatt hours, up to ten dives can be carried out a day.

The Nexus submarine can dive up to 200 meters deep and thus to the edge of the deep sea, where there is no longer any natural light. Ten electric motors, each with an output of 6.4 kW, provide the drive. You can find more information here from the manufacturer. Almost as impressive is this drone flight through a classic submarine.
