like Didier Deschamps, choose the twenty-three players from the French team to take to Qatar

Four years after the coronation in Russia, the France team is preparing to compete in the World Cup in Qatar (from November 20 to December 18) against the best selections on the planet. Yes, but which Blues should compose this team? Didier Deschamps must unveil on November 9 his list of French players who will be traveling, with the aim of bringing the cup home again.

The saying goes that France has 67 million coaches, so play it like Didier Deschamps. If FIFA authorizes a list ranging from twenty-three to twenty-six names per team, the coach of the France team has not yet announced how many he would retain. We therefore invite you, as in 2018, to select twenty-three players – three goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders and six forwards – from a list of fifty-five names.

Also compose your ideal starting eleven (according to the preferential system of the coach: 3-5-2 or 3-4-3). To help you in your choice, The world isolated statistics (stopped at October 28), but also arguments for and against the participation of each player in the World Cup – sometimes with a dose of bad faith.

Be careful, think like Didier: a team is not necessarily made up only of the best elements but of players capable of stringing together matches and others who agree to remain on the bench throughout the competition.
