Another loaded gun was found on Lil Wayne. The rapper pleaded guilty in court and faces a long prison sentence.

Rapper Lil Wayne (38) faces up to ten years in prison. He pleaded guilty to illegal gun possession in a Florida court on Friday, prosecutors said. The musician had already served a prison sentence of several months in 2010 for violating the gun law. A loaded gun was found in his tour bus in 2007. Now he was caught again – according to the report, on a private flight with a "gold-plated pistol" in his pocket that was loaded. Convicted offenders are prohibited from possessing weapons in the United States.

The 38-year-old was arrested in Florida in December 2019 after an anonymous tip-off after landing on a private jet from California. The rapper told the officer that he had a gun in his pocket, the statement said. Drugs were also found during the search. A judgment could be pronounced on January 28, 2021. According to the US celebrity portal "TMZ", Lil Wayne is said to have entered into a deal with the prosecutor. In return for a confession of guilt, he could hope for a lighter sentence, according to insiders.
