Lil Wayne: The rapper raves about meeting Donald Trump

Lil Wayne has told his Twitter followers how "great" his meeting with Trump was. Not all of his fans are enthusiastic about it.

Before the upcoming presidential elections in the USA on November 3, Donald Trump (74) will receive prominent support: Rapper Lil Wayne (38) shared on Twitter took a photo with the US President and stated that the two had a "great meeting". The musician has almost 35 million followers on the short message service.

In his post, the 38-year-old praised Trump's "platinum plan". With this, the president advertises for the votes of black voters. Trump promised, among other things, millions of new jobs for African Americans and better access to education and training. "He listened to what we had to say today and assured us that he can and will do it," said Lil Wayne about his meeting with Trump.

"How stupid are you?"

The musician's public support for Trump met with mixed reactions online. "I'm grateful for that. This is about helping people. End of story," wrote a fan on Twitter. Other users, however, are less enthusiastic about Lil Wayne's commitment: "He assured me that we will make it. My God, how stupid you are."
