Lilli Hollunder spoke openly about her pregnancy and revealed that she originally preferred a girl.

In May 2020 Lilli Hollunder (34) became a mother for the first time. The actress and wife of ex-soccer goalkeeper René Adler (36) gave birth to a boy who goes by the name Casper. But as Hollunder has now revealed, she actually wanted a girl. Other fears troubled her as well.

“For example, I didn’t want a boy and was afraid of having an ugly child,” says Hollunder in the current issue of Gala magazine. She had a “hysterical attack” when she found out that it was going to be a boy. At the same time, she was ashamed of her thoughts. Only a conversation with another mother helped her to process her feelings.

Adler and Hollunder have been married since October 2016. During his career, the former professional footballer played for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Hamburger SV, among others. Hollunder is best known from TV. She was seen in more than 400 episodes of the soap “Verbotene Liebe”.
