Lilly Becker has not been with tennis legend Boris Becker for five years. Now she wants to speak publicly about him for the last time in a documentary and in the accompanying interview she launches a verbal sweeping attack.
Lilly Becker: “I don’t think he can sleep well at night”
Once upon a time there was great love, now Lilly Becker has almost only negative words left for her ex. As early as February, she made serious accusations against him in an interview with “Bild”, saying: “I’ve been the only reference person for Amadeus since 2018” – their son who was born in 2010. According to Lilly, the former professional athlete can be “charming and loving, but also extremely hurtful with words.” In his first TV interview after his release from prison on December 20, 2022 on Sat.1, Boris described his relationship with Lilly as “difficult”.
Now the 47-year-old speaks again about the separation, because of which she once “cried in her bathroom”. The Dutch native openly admitted this in a live interview on Instagram for the charity “Cash & Rocket” in 2020. She now explains to “Bild”: “I feel sorry for him. It’s super sad. But everyone is responsible for their own lives. I wasn’t in prison, he was. I don’t think he can sleep well at night. I, on the other hand, sleep soundly like an angel.” In the documentary “The Rise and Fall of Boris Becker” (Eng.: “Rise and Fall of Boris Becker”) by the British streaming service ITVX, Lilly Becker wants to comment on her ex one last time that she wants to end it with him.

In an interview with “Bild”, Lilly Becker remembers the separation in 2018, explains that she “left” him and claims that Boris Becker “would not forgive her”. Because: “You don’t leave a Boris Becker,” emphasizes Lilly. According to her statement, the two are still not officially divorced.
Allegedly, Boris wanted to “destroy” her since the breakup. The mother of 13-year-old Amadeus claims: “When I left five years ago, he took my house and car keys”, allegedly throwing her out. According to Lilly, she said she “didn’t have a cent in cash” and “didn’t know where to go. We then spent the first night on a bank in a café,” the model continues. Friends then helped her and “registered an apartment” for her. That was her “low point”.
