This other star in question is called Abel Tesfaye, but is known as The Weeknd. The Canadian singer/actor and Lily-Rose Depp were caught holding hands in Los Angeles. The visibly very close couple left a restaurant and returned to their car, a vintage Ferrari driven by The Weeknd. Lily-Rose had made herself beautiful for this evening alone; Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp’s daughter was completely covered in floral patterns.
Unfortunately for their respective millions of fans, Lily-Rose and The Weeknd’s romance is fictional! The two actors form a couple for series The Idolsoon to be broadcast on HBO and of which they are the two heroes. It tells the love story of a modern-day self-help guru and cult leader and a rising pop singer.
In reality, Lily-Rose Depp is still dating Yassine Stein. The two lovebirds made a rare appearance together last February, taking advantage of a sunny afternoon to eat at a restaurant in Los Angeles. Before meeting Yassine, the pretty blonde would have dated actor Austin Butler, ex-boyfriend of Vanessa Hudgens (resettled with hockey player Cole Tucker), now in a relationship with model (and daughter of Cindy Crawford) Kaia Gerber. Lily-Rose also dated Timothée Chalamet, her costar in the film The king (released on Netflix in November 2020).
The Weeknd has an even more complicated love life! The singer has a sulphurous reputation and has had two public relations, with supermodel Bella Hadid and then singer Selena Gomez. He was recently rumored to have started a romance with Angelina Jolie, but was caught on his birthday party greedily kissing a young influencer, named Simi Khadra.
