It has now been more than six months since Lina, a young woman of 15, has not been heard from. As a reminder, the teenager disappeared on September 23, 2023, shortly after leaving her home to go to the Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station, in Alsace, in order to take the train to join her boyfriend, Tao. Unfortunately, the young man who was waiting for his girlfriend to arrive never saw her get off the train. Even today, despite the numerous searches and interrogations carried out by the authorities, the investigation into this mysterious disappearance is at a standstill. To try to find out more and gather new information, Lina’s mother, Fanny Groll, went to the set of the show Calls for witnesses, broadcast on M6 this Tuesday, May 28.
For his part, Tao was also contacted to participate in the program. But if the young man refused to introduce himself, he nevertheless left a message which was read by Julien Courbet at the start of the program. “I’m not present on the set this evening, but I’m always there in support. Lina, if you hear us, know that we are here and that we are not giving up on finding you. Lina, be strong and don’t don’t give up either. I’m thinking of you a lot.”, wrote the young man, distraught. And to add: “I really hope this show can provide new information. If anyone knows something or remembers something, even if it seems trivial, please say so. […] I remain in the hope that there will be testimonies that will allow us to find you.”
Disappearance of Lina, her mother remains hopeful: “I know she is alive”
During his appearance on the show Calls for witnesses, Fanny Groll spoke out as rarely about the disappearance of her daughter. Faced with Julien Courbet, the teenager’s mother assured that she was convinced that her offspring was “envy”. “My mother’s instinct, my gut, my heart. I know she’s alive,” she said, her voice hoarse, clarifying that Lina could not have left of her own free will. “She wouldn’t have left like that when she was going to join Tao in town to have a great day. She would have taken some things, which is not the case at all. She just left with her things with her, his telephone”she explained, before concluding : “Anyway, it was going really well, she was really happy. So, there’s no reason. It was a princess day.”
