Linda Evangelista’s best friend has died. On Instagram, the former top model mourns with shared photos.
Hard times for ex-model Linda Evangelista (56): she shared on Instagram several photos of her deceased best friend. “Today we buried my best friend Sue. My everything,” the post reads. “I’m at a loss for words right now because the pain is so intense. I’ll update this post soon.”
Under the post, numerous celebrities express their condolences and give comfort. Marc Jacobs (59) writes, for example, that he is sorry for her loss. Carla Bruni (54) sends love and Naomi Campbell (51) writes: “I’m so sorry Elos, thinking of you and sending love and condolences to you and Sue’s family.”
“You were by her side through it all”
It is not known how Evangelista’s girlfriend died. Her colleague, supermodel Christy Turlington (53), goes into more detail in her condolences: “I’m so sorry Linda. I know you’ve been by her side through it all and I’m sure she was very grateful to you. I send you love.”
Mentally, Evangelista has been under heavy strain for a long time. The top model only had it in September 2021 on Instagram and later reported in “People” magazine about a difficult time after a cosmetic procedure. Evangelista revealed she was “permanently deformed” due to a rare side effect. The “disfigurement” made her “depressed” and finally a “hermit”.
