Linda Gray: "Dallas" star announces son's death

The son of "Dallas" star Linda Gray is dead. The actress now announced: "He was the friendliest, funniest, cutest person".

"Dallas" star Linda Gray (80) mourns the loss of her son Jeff Thrasher. She announced his death via Instagram. "A celebration on the occasion of the life of my son Jeff. He was the kindest, funniest, cutest person ….. He brought such love to the world and was loved by everyone! May his trip be a magical," wrote the US actress. She also posted two photos. One shows him cycling through an autumn landscape from behind, the other shows "Jeff" lettering in the sand by the sea. Thrasher was 56 years old.

Jeff Thrasher, who also worked as a director and producer ("The Amazing Race Canada") in the entertainment industry, as "ET Cananda" reports, was the eldest child of Linda Gray and her ex-husband (1962-1983), the photographer and Graphic artist Ed Thrasher (1932-2006). The two had another child, daughter Kehly Sloane (54).

Linda Gray is best known internationally for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing in the US television series "Dallas", which she played from 1978 to 1989 and 1991.
