Flowers and ouzo: Ingo Zamperoni said goodbye to his colleague Linda Zervakis. She was previously seen in the “Tagesschau” for the last time.

Linda Zervakis (45) was last seen as the presenter of the “Tagesschau” on Monday evening. With the words “I wish you a nice evening, take care and stay healthy” she said goodbye to the audience. Then she herself got her farewell later in the “topics of the day”: Ingo Zamperoni (46) presented his colleague with flowers, thanked her and wished her “all the best”: “We will miss you very, very much. Stay the way you are.” In addition, the following was displayed in the background: “Thank you, Linda! Rock on!” Then Zervakis and Zamperoni drank ouzo together.

On Monday, Zervakis had already thanked him in an Instagram post. Among other things, she wrote there: “Those were eight exciting and beautiful years. That’s why I would like to say a big thank you to all my colleagues at @tagesschau. And by that I really mean everyone, regardless of whether behind or in front of the camera. Thank you, that I was allowed to be part of you and have learned a lot from you over the years that I would never want to be without. ” She also thanked the TV audience: “The mail that has reached me in the last few days is simply indescribable. But even before that. It’s amazing.”

Career change

At the beginning of April, the NDR had confirmed that Linda Zervakis is leaving the “Tagesschau”. The 45-year-old from Hamburg had been part of ARD-aktuell since 2006, and she first presented the “Tagesschau” on the news channel tagesschau24. In February 2010, Zervakis made the leap into the first, and since April 2013 she has also moderated the 8 p.m. edition. When they said goodbye, it was said that Zervakis would like to change her career at her own request.
