(AOF) – Linde, the international American-German industrial gases group (31 billion dollars in turnover in 2021), announced that it had finalized the sale of Gist Limited, its cold logistics subsidiary operating mainly in the United Kingdom. United and in Ireland, to Marks & Spencer Group, the great British brand. The sale of this non-essential asset, the amount of which has not been disclosed, was completed on September 30, 2022.

Threat to the European energy system

The leading importer of German gas, Uniper posts 54% of the volumes it buys from Russia. As for Engie, it benefits from the diversification of its sources of supply, with an increase in the volumes of LNG delivered to France and contracts with Norway and Algeria. The group has also adapted its hedging strategy to strengthen its resilience.
