Removed skin cancer from her father Michael

Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s father, had to undergo a short-term procedure for skin cancer on his hand.
Not good news for the actress Lindsay Lohan (37) at the beginning of the year: Her father Michael Lohan (63) had to have surgery on his hand because of “aggressive” skin cancer. A section of skin was removed, leaving a large scar on the back of his hand.
“Never be ashamed of the scars”
In conversation with “TMZ” The actress’ father explained that he had been battling cancer for about four years and had “recently had a suspicious change” on his hand. That’s why the doctors ordered a biopsy. On Tuesday evening they informed him that the spot needed to be removed as quickly as possible. The 63-year-old explained that it had “deep roots” but that they were able to be completely removed on Wednesday. Due to the “aggressive” nature of his cancer, the father-of-four needs to be closely monitored as it is likely the cancer will recur.
Michael Lohan also posted on Wednesday on Instagram a photo of the surgical site with the caption: “Never be ashamed of the scars that life has left you. A scar means that the pain is over, the wound is closed, you have endured the pain and God has healed you.”
Michael Lohan has been fighting for his health for many years: Back in 2011, he underwent a procedure in which Growths removed from his colon became. Speaking to the Daily Mail at the time, he also revealed: “Last year I was scared of skin cancer and they cut it out and thank God it never came back. My body is fighting back pretty well.”
So now he had to go under the knife again. It is said that he did not inform his famous daughter Lindsay about the operation in advance because he did not want to worry the mother of six-month-old Luai or interfere with her work.
