In 2013 Lindsay Lohan was seen in her last role, now she dares her acting comeback for a Netflix Christmas film.

Lindsay Lohan (34) returns in front of the camera for a new Netflix Christmas film! This is what the industry journal “Variety” reports. Lohan was seen in her last major role in the erotic thriller “The Canyons” in 2013 and has since largely left acting. In the still nameless Netflix flick, Lohan is said to play a “newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress” who suffers from amnesia after a skiing accident. Shortly before Christmas, she finds herself in the arms of an “attractive lodge owner”.

Release date still unclear

Production is scheduled to start next November – which makes a release date this year unlikely. Directed by Janeen Damian (59, “Streetdance – Follow your dream!”). Together with her partner Michael Damian (59, “Marley & Ich 2”) as well as Jeff Bonnett (“Love Between the Lines”) and Ron Oliver (53, “Christmas on Detours”) she is also responsible for the script. It is not yet known which stars will appear in the film alongside Lohan.

Lohan made her cinema debut at the age of eleven in the comedy “A Twin Seldom Comes Alone” (1998). This was followed by film hits such as “Freaky Friday – A full crazy Friday” (2003) and “Girls Club – Caution snappy!” (2004). In recent years, the actress was more noticed by scandals than screen jobs. Lohan had come into conflict with the law because of drunk driving and drug possession, among other things, and ended up behind bars for a short time.
