Lindt: Stifel raises its recommendation

(CercleFinance.com) – Stifel raises its recommendation on Lindt & Sprüngli from ‘hold’ to ‘buy’, with a target price raised from 11,325 to 12,000 Swiss francs, ‘on the basis of improved sustainable growth prospects’ for the chocolate maker Swiss.

In the summary of its research note, the broker states that it anticipates ‘strong new value creation, supported by a strong brand, global presence and expansion into new growth markets’.

Regarding ESG (environment, social and governance), Stifel acknowledges that ‘governance is clearly a negative aspect’, but he notes that ‘as long as Lindt performs, it seems accepted by investors’.
