The former “The Lions’ Den” investor and entrepreneur Georg Kofler is marrying his partner Isabel Grupp next weekend.
The entrepreneur Georg Kofler (67), probably known to most TV viewers as a former investor from the popular VOX founders’ format “The Lions’ Den”, says “yes” – but not to a start-up, but rather to his fiancée. In just a few days, Kofler is marrying his partner Isabel Grupp, who is also an entrepreneur. Have that the two confirmed to the “Bild” newspaper.
The big wedding celebration is not scheduled to take place until next year
“Yes, it’s true. We’re getting married at the weekend in a civil ceremony with witnesses and family,” explains the couple, who, according to the report, were on their way to Italy at the time. The wedding should take place in Venice, “because for us it is the most magical place on earth,” explain Kofler and Grupp. A big celebration is therefore planned for 2025. The couple has been engaged for a while, as the entrepreneur explains. “I got down on my knees a year ago and was very happy that she said yes,” Kofler told the daily newspaper.
The two presented themselves to the public together for the first time at a gala in the summer of 2022. “Yes, she is my partner,” he confirmed to “t-online” at the time and introduced Grupp as a “successful entrepreneur from Baden-Württemberg”. Kofler explained that he met her “at various business conferences.” His partner has an “extraordinary combination of intelligence, empathy, charm, feminine attractiveness and entrepreneurial spirit.”
