At the Lisa Marie Presley memorial service, Riley Keough’s husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, also announced that the couple have a child.

At the funeral service it became known: Riley Keough (33) has become a mother. At Sunday’s memorial service for Lisa Marie Presley (1968-2023) at the Graceland estate in Memphis, Tennessee, the actress’ husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, revealed the couple had a daughter while he, on behalf of his wife, who sat in the front row gave a speech.

“I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and sisters. Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, temper, ferocity and tenacity. I am a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart,” said Smith-Petersen, speaking for Riley Keough about his mother-in-law.

Smith-Petersen, who has been married to Keough for eight years, did not provide any further information, including when their daughter was born or what her name is. A spokesman for Keough confirmed to People magazinethat she gave birth to a girl in 2022.

Keough’s romance with the Australian stuntman developed quickly after they met while filming Mad Max: Fury Road. In 2014, they announced their engagement. More than a year later, the couple married in February 2015.

Musicians sang for Lisa Marie Presley

In addition to the speeches given by the family – especially mother Priscilla Presley (77) – and friends at the memorial service, many colleagues also appeared. Axl Rose (60) from Guns N’ Roses, Alanis Morissette (48) and Billy Corgan (55) from the Smashing Pumpkins were among the musicians who sang for Lisa Marie Presley.

The daughter of Priscilla Presley and Elvis Presley (1935-1977) died on January 12 at the age of 54.
