The shock was huge when news of the death of actress Lisa Martinek (1972-2019) was released a year ago, on June 28, 2019. As the family lawyer announced at the time, the triple mother died unexpectedly during a stay in Italy. Martinek was only 47 years old. She left behind her husband, fellow actor Giulio Ricciarelli (54), and three children together.

New main actress for "The Savior"
Lisa Martinek was nominated for the German Film Award several times. Her most famous role was that of Commissioner Clara Hertz in the TV series "The Duo", which she played from 2006 to 2012. Most recently, she was seen in Munich's "Tatort: KI" (2018) and in "Schwartz & Schwartz: My First Murder" (2018). In the same year she also played the title role of blind Berlin lawyer Romy Heiland in the first season of the TV series "Die Heiland – Wir sind Rechtsanwalt" (Das Erste).
Lisa Martinek died shortly before filming for season two began. After her death, work on the sequel was suspended. In September 2019, the broadcaster announced that actress Christina Athenstädt (born 1979) would take on her role. Filming began in November 2019. "The sadness was felt, of course.
