Little Nightmares: 12 million sales for the Bandai Namco franchise

Born in 2017 from the spirit of Tarsier Studios, franchise Little Nightmares remains modest, with only three episodes on the clock, including one on mobile. But it manages to seduce many players, the publisher bandai namco recently took stock of the very good sales of the license.

Little Nightmares has sold over 12 million copies worldwide since its debut, it’s a great commercial success! The franchise counts as a reminder the main opuses Little Nightmares And Little Nightmares IIreleased in 2021, but also the friendly Very Little Nightmares developped by Alike Studio in 2019 for iOS and Android. Arnaud Muller, CEO of Bandai Namco Europecomments:

The Little Nightmares franchise met with success as soon as the very first episode was released, 6 years ago to the day. We are proud of the work done by the teams at Bandai Namco Europe, Tarsier Studios, Engine Software and Supermassive Games, who have been able to create great games while developing the franchise on new mediums.

As a reminder, Tarsier Studios was bought out by Embrace Groupthe parent company of THQ Nordicand is currently developing a new title, in a new franchise. License Little Nightmares indeed remained in the hands of bandai namco, which has not yet announced a sequel… for the moment, because given the excellent sales, the publisher is probably not going to stop there.
