Little Orpheus moves from Apple Arcade to consoles and PC

Optimized for the big screen with new textures and animations, Little Orpheus on consoles and PC also includes a 9th bonus episode named A Rush of Onion to the Head. Those who pre-order the game on Steam or who buy it within two weeks of its release will be able to download the soundtrack composed by Jessica Curry and Jim Fowler as a bonus.

Little Orpheus is a Technicolor side-scrolling adventure game inspired by classic movies like Flash Gordon, Sinbad and The Sixth Continent. The puzzles and platforming stages of Little Orpheus are simple enough for casual gamers, yet rich enough for seasoned adventure fans. If you’re a fan of old-school family blockbusters, want a story full of twists and turns that will take you to the center of the Earth and beyond, or just need some ideologically correct entertainment, join the hero the most unlikely on PC and consoles for an incredible adventure“, boasts the press release.

The game is set in 1962 and tells the story of comrade Ivan Ivanovich. While NASA is busy putting a man on the moon, this Soviet cosmonaut is heading in the opposite direction. Installed in his Little Orpheus exploration capsule, he is parachuted into an extinct volcano to explore the center of the Earth. Ivan is then no longer talked about until his reappearance three years later, when he claims to have saved the world. Seen from the outside, the man has especially lost the atomic bomb which powered Little Orpheus and therefore finds himself invited to a short interrogation in the presence of the formidable General Yurkovoi. The course of the game therefore corresponds to the story that the protagonist unfolds after his long disappearance.
