Available in early access since May, Little Witch in the Woods offers players to go through the prologue as well as the first chapter of the game. This one ends, moreover, on the main quest: “Repairing the Fountain” (“Repairing the fountain”, in French). In this new guide, we give you the procedure to follow in order to repair the fountain of Wisteria.
Note that the early access of Little Witch in the Woods does not currently offer the French language. Thus, you will find, in our guides, several English mentions, in particular with regard to resources and items. This will make it easier for you to find your way around.
Little Witch in the Woods, repair the fountain in the village Wisteria
Main Quest: “Repairing the Fountain”
After clearing the village of prickly vines, Kyla, the carpenter, will make her grand return to Wisteria. This NPC will then ask you for help to rebuild his house as well as that of Roy, another character.
As soon as you have completed Roy’s house, you will be able to start the last main quest of the early access, and therefore of the first chapter, of Little Witch in the Woods. It is Enite who will give you said quest, named in English “Repairing the Fountain”.
First, you need to go talk to Kyla. In order to repair the fountain in Wisteriathe carpenter will ask you to bring her a number of resources:
- Branch: 10
- Stone (“Stone Fragments”): 10
- Mud: 10
Go in search of these elements, and bring them back to Kyla once you have all the requested resources. Finally, the carpenter wants you to make the so-called “Firecraker Potion”. You can get the recipe for this decoction by talking to Diane and then buying it via the “Witch’s Catalogue” for 10 Luna Coins.
In order to prepare this new potion, you need the following items:
- Backed Tinkle Spider (obtained by putting 2 Tinkle Spider in the Roaster)
- One Eye Frog Roast (obtained by putting 2 One Eye Frog in the Roaster)
- Little Mandrake Roast (obtained by putting 4 Little Mandrakes in the Roaster).
- You can get “Little Mandrake” in the “Green Forest Depths” area.
Once you have gathered these items, put them all in the cauldron (“Witch’s Pot”). Set the fire to level 3 and be sure to stir from the right. If you have followed these steps correctly, you will then obtain the “Firecraker Potion” decoction.
From then on, all you have to do is return to the village of Wistera and go see Enite. At nightfall, all the characters of Little Witch in the Woods will celebrate the repair of the fountain as well as your progress in the game.
