Live concert at Flex – Sam Ryder: song contest star celebrates Vienna debut

Vienna is different, that is well known. But not always for the better. While Sam Ryder, definitely the British newcomer of the year, gives sold out concerts practically all over Europe, the Flex doesn’t even fill up with the box office. The advantage of this – the approximately 200 people present experience an intimate moment that can probably be described as unique in its form. The year of the 33-year-old was simply too good for that. With the song “Space Man” he took second place in the song contest behind the programmatic winner Ukraine, conquered the charts throughout Europe with the single, sang for the Queen before her death and stood at the tribute concert for the deceased Foo- Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins then took to the stage in London with the band Queen to perform “Somebody To Love”.
