Live in the Arena – Tash Sultana: We’re going to Vienna for the birthdays

Play freely
Like nowhere else, the worlds come together in Sultana’s game. Australian folklore, British indie, 1970s soul, Jamaican reggae and rampant electric guitar solos, in which Sultana – also in terms of her hairstyle – is reminiscent of top hat master Slash. A rainbow with a flamingo ranks in front of the band, the large video wall transmits psychedelic moving images to match the respective songs. In “Greed”, for example, dollar bills flutter across the screen. While the wonderful “Notion” sounds, the e-guitar shreds mercilessly for two minutes, behind it a snake flashes, which almost reminds you of 80s testosterone rock á la Whitesnake. With the versatile equipment and a powerful sound behind you, you can play freely. Especially when you already feel at home here after all these years.
