Lived token culture at the NFTBerlin

how to start Carrying on where you left off before the pandemic? reboot? Even if it felt like it, time has not stood still. The world keeps turning, the digital one at the usual high speed. Much had to be pushed back in the Covid-paralyzed chapter of life, has accumulated and is waiting impatiently for the moment to bubble over like a vigorously shaken bottle of water. After endless quarantine loops, the doors to the opened in May for the first time NFTBerlin, a conference dedicated to the broad spectrum of NFTs. After two days of art, partying and exchange, it became clear: Space is brewing.

In the NFT engine room

125 speakers, 1,000 visitors as colorful as the NFT sector. Art, Games, Live Minting, Web3, Finance, Infrastructure. Hardly a topic that was missing between May 25th and 27th. In the old mint in Berlin, everything that usually hangs loosely next to each other due to the tab requirement came together on three levels – and a few hidden corridors. BTC-ECHO was there live as a media partner.

NFTs are many things and NFT can be many things, as was made clear by the more than 4,000 digital works of art exhibited in fluorescent flat screen arrangements in the adjoining exhibition “The new Gestalt”. These include works by Metawalls, Cro, Jesse Draxler or Kim Asendorf, loans from KanoseiMetaGallery, FlamingoDAO and numerous CryptoPunks. Probably unique in size and variety.

Ditt is Berlin

And above all, always the questions: where do we stand, where do we want to go? NFTs thrive on exchange, collaboration, networking and visions. From the dawn of the unknown. The conference lived this spirit, down-to-earth, with wit and charm, but taut and focused.

Illustrious speakers such as Aave founder Stani Kulechov, Tron head Justin Sun and Timeless CEO Jan Karnath made sure of that. Those who wanted to wind down from the tightly packed program let the sun shine on their furs with cool drinks in the courtyard. Or just drift.

The start: successful. Berlin was put on the NFT map. The next round will start next year, by then a lot of new things should have accumulated.
