The fight for the title in the English Premier League remains exciting. Champions Manchester City drop two points against Crystal Palace. Liverpool FC is hot on the heels of the Guardiola team.
Crystal Palace made the English Football Championship even more exciting with a clean sheet against Manchester City. With the 0-0 draw in London on Monday, City missed the chance to further distance themselves from pursuers Liverpool. The team of star coach Pep Guardiola has only four points ahead of the team of German coach Jürgen Klopp in one more game.
With another success on Wednesday (9:15 p.m. / Sky) at Arsenal FC, Liverpool could move up to one point behind the defending champion. Two months ago, the lead was eleven points.
City dominated at Selhurst Park for long stretches and also had the better chances to score. Joao Cancelo (27′) and Kevin De Bruyne (58′) were unlucky to hit the post. On April 10th there will be a showdown with Liverpool.
