Coastal Granny – this trend combines simplicity, relaxation and flawless design – in short, the desire to be comfortable throughout. This works best with a lot Linen, neutral colors and pottery. Concentrating on the essentials – with the straightforward charm and calm colors of the Scandinavian attitude to life, that’s definitely something we really like!
The wellness trend for your own four walls
We love wellness because we can recharge our batteries and do something good for our body. Relaxation is a top priority. It is logical that we would like to have such a room at home, in which we feel really comfortable and where we can draw new energy. And that’s easier than you think: be it in the bathroom, which we take with you Spa elements such as candles or infrared lamps upgrade or an extra area in our living room that is used for sports or meditation exercises. Marble was already very popular as a material in 2022 – but next year we’ll go one step further: according to Tiffany Howell, founder and chief designer of the interior design studio Night Palm in LA, it’s all about ornate marble. Beautiful shades of pink, deep blue and deep green marble are therefore on the rise. Marble really makes a difference as wall cladding or work surface. Admittedly, marble is not exactly a cheap pleasure, but if you still don’t want to do without the beauty of the stone in your own four walls, you can rely on accessories or small utensils made of marble, such as a tray or a side table made of the chic material.
Greenterior trend
We see green – especially in the office and home office! As futurologist Oona Horx-Strathern puts it: “The interest in bringing more nature into the interior design is growing so rapidly that there is now a separate term for it: Greenterior.” Plants are therefore used, especially in the area of office design. As the designer Miriam Köpf emphasises, indoor plants increase concentration and ensure a healthy room climate and dampened sound. So plants have a lot of advantages in our home, besides they represent the desire to live more in harmony with nature. It is best to combine them with natural materials such as jute, linen or cotton and create a harmonious working atmosphere in which creativity runs at full speed!
