(CercleFinance.com) – Lockheed Martin today welcomed the Australian Department of Defense’s announcement of its designation as a strategic partner for Phase 1 of the AIR6500.
Concretely, this will involve providing the Australian Defense Force (ADF) with a joint air combat management system (JABMS) on which air and anti-missile defense will be based.
This first-of-its-kind system will provide enhanced situational awareness and defense against increasingly advanced airborne and ballistic threats, and provide ADFs with increased levels of interoperability with the United States and its allied partners.
