Determined to glean as many gamers as possible into its stable, Logitech has unveiled a new collection of gaming products with an “inclusive” design made up of three references. We find in particular the G735, a gaming headset with dual wireless connection.

Freshly unveiled, the new G735 aligns with Logitech’s new philosophy. The Swiss brand has indeed developed a model of wireless keyboard, mouse and headset designed to be “genderless and inclusive, beyond gender and stereotypes”, but which seeks above all to “meet the needs of players”. This strategy finds its justification on the design of the products, in particular the helmet, which displays very rounded lines and a specific design, studied to suit people with long hair, small heads, wearers of glasses, earrings…

The G735 breaks quite frankly with the design of previous Logitech references, especially since it will only be offered in white for the moment. RGB lighting, which can be personalized, is still present around the edges of the headset’s ear cups.

The shared visuals indeed suggest large circum-auricular earpieces with a particularly soft and thick coating. Like the gooseneck microphone, the earpieces of this G735 will be easily detachable and replaceable with a pair of another color, sold separately. Like the entry-level model launched recently (G435), the G735 highlights its dual wireless connectivity, via the USB dongle provided via the proprietary Lightspeed protocol and via Bluetooth. The signal from the two sources is also mixed at the output, and the balance can be adjusted directly via a potentiometer located on the headphones.

Always with the idea of offering more customization, the signal captured by the microphone can be modified via the many Blue Vo!ce tools integrated into the G Hub application and will be saved directly in the memory of the headset. In terms of autonomy, the G735 announces a generous duration of use of up to 56 hours without RGB lighting. It remains to be seen what impact the latter will have in permanent activation. Finally, Logitech unfortunately remains very tight-lipped on the sound performance of its G735. It will therefore be necessary to wait to receive it in test before knowing its capacities in the matter.

G735

Although it seeks to appeal to as many people as possible, the G735 is far from being the most affordable model on the market with an introductory price of €229.99. Some accessories sold separately fortunately opt for a more reasonable price, such as the pair of pads + a gooseneck microphone, the price of which will be around 20 €. The rigid transport case will be marketed around 40 €.
