A man in his fifties ended his life on Sunday May 8. He jumped over the barrier and threw himself into the void from the Pélussin viaduct.
It was a walker who spotted, in the early afternoon, the lifeless body of the man who had been lying there, under the bridge, for perhaps a few hours already. He had no identity papers on him. A bicycle was found near the viaduct.
At the end of the afternoon, the gendarmes continued to seek to identify the victim.
