Loire The mayor of Saint-Héand, Jean-Marc Thélisson, has died

The reactions of politicians

Gaël Perdriau, mayor of Saint-Etienne, reacted: “It is a shock and an immense sadness. Jean-Marc Thélisson, my fellow mayor of Saint-Héand, my friend Jean-Marc died accidentally. Saint-Héand and Saint-Etienne Métropole, this (Saturday, editor’s note) morning, are in mourning. »

Cécile Cukierman, senator from the Loire, pointed out “her kindness, her availability, both for the inhabitants of her commune but also for all the others, we will miss”.

Another senator from the Loire wanted to express his grief: Jean-Claude Tissot. In a press release, he describes Jean-Marc Thélisson as a “great servant of the Republic: pegged to his territory of Saint-Héand, steeped in a spirit of openness and unity, he acted for the common good on a daily basis. One of the last great achievements that we inaugurated under his aegis is a good reflection of his lifelong action to bring people together: the elevator which now connects the lower and upper parts of the town, and leads to the new media library. »
