This handful of unprecedented seconds reveals a Loki in full time wandering, a phenomenon that makes him travel despite himself through time and space. We can thus see it in our time, but also at the end of the 19th century, in what looks like a universal exhibition.
This teaser also confirms that this season 2 will be more than ever a team story. Alongside Loki (Tom Hiddleston), we find regulars Mobius (Owen Wilson), Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and Wunmi Mosaku, as well as newcomer OB, played by Ke Huy Quan (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom).
Admittedly, expectations are high. Released in 2021, the first season of Loki had established itself over time as the best Marvel series on Disney+, in particular thanks to its visual identity and its refreshing tone. It is still one of the most popular programs on the streaming platform.
Director Kate Herron, at the helm of season 1, hands over the baton here to the duo Justin Benson / Aaron Moorhead (Archives 81, Moon Knight). The series is still written by Michael Waldron and Eric Martin (rick and morty, Heels).
Season 2 of Lokiconsisting of six episodes, will be broadcast on Disney+ from October 6, 2023, at the rate of one episode per week.
