LoL: A leak reveals the next skins, with the return of an expected theme

Although the eyes of the community League of Legends Either fixed on the next Star Guardian event, leakers have returned to the fray to reveal the new things that will be coming to Riot Games’ title over the next few months. Information leaks that this time focus on the new skins that are about to arrive in the video game from Riot Games and which, if they come true, will mean the introduction of some of the most anticipated cosmetics by the community.

The future of League of Legends after Guardians of the Stars

As revealed by leaks one of the first new things after the Star Guardian event ends could be one that many in the community have been waiting for over a year. It is of course Monster Tamers. It’s a cosmetic line that some may have overlooked, but it was introduced at the start of the 2021 season as part of a community survey. It wasn’t a priority for Riot Games as it received fewer votes than Nightmare in the Lawless City or Gallant, but a considerable portion of players immediately fell for it due to its adorable style.

The leaks don’t just stop at the next family of skins, but go even further and bank on more new themed lines for upcoming League of Legends updates. More precisely, the leaks mention an original theme which in the moba in the form of an event and which would receive the name of Hell of Neon . It would be a cyberpunk style whose additional details have not yet been released and which would have its own event. The leak does not specify if this event will be as important as that of the next Star Guardian skins, but it would still be a fairly important meeting.

Finally and always following the information leaks, it would be the moment of the arrival of another of the most awaited cosmetic lines of the community. This time we refer to the return of gothic skins which were the most voted by the community during the 2012 season. These will help us wait until the next few months at the World Championship, which also has its own dedicated event in the League of Legends client. In summary, the list would be as follows…

  • Star Guardians in Patches 12.13 and 12.14
  • Monster Tamers
  • Infernal Neon*
  • The Return of Gothic Skins
  • League of Legends World Championship

*Name to be confirmed

Given that this article talks about leaks and that Riot Games has not made an official confirmation, the information given should be taken with a grain of salt. Any new skins or themes mentioned in these leaks will not make it to the game until patch 12.15 is released. Indeed, as the developers have officially confirmed, the Star Guardian event will span two patches (about 1 month). Depending on the patch schedule, the other new features could begin to be available from August 10th.

Also, keep in mind that Riot Games will increase the price of RP by 10% starting August 19. That way, whether it’s buying those skins if they’re finally confirmed or anticipating exciting future releases, it might be a good idea to stock up on RP. Especially from next July 14, when a compensation measure will be activated that will increase the bonuses players receive for their spending.
