While everyone is waiting for Udyr’s revamp, others are wondering when Malphite will get it. A Rioter answers the question.
Scheduled for the coming weeks, Udyr’s revamp is highly anticipated. Udyr is one of the oldest characters in League of Legends. and it was high time that the latter had the right to a major overhaul both visually and in terms of gameplay. However, other old champions also need an overhaul.
This is the case of Malphite, the favorite stone of LoL playersis getting old and he is not on Riot Games’ agenda. Yet in a Reddit post, Ryan “Reav3” Mirelesone of the League of Legends developers, has confirmed that Malphite will get a redesign, but it is not likely to satisfy everyone.
“I think Malphite probably needs a visual update or a look and feel overhaul at some point. His kit is simple, but still fun and works well, and it’s good to have simpler champions in the game.” –Reav3
It’s a bit sad for those who were hoping to see a little more than a graphical overhaul.but it’s already great news for fans of the champion. Malphite could get a visual update well deserved and which could also be inspired by its model in League of Legends: Wild Rift that the fishbait modder imported to PC along with those of other champions.
