LoL: An old idea revived to give some pep to the Abyss Hurlant (ARAM)!

Initially on All Random All Mid was a game mode imagined by the playersand which could only be found in custom parts. In front, there popularity of the latter, Riot Games ended up making one permanent mode with a dedicated card. After several yearsa good part of the players would appreciate it receiving a small facelift. If he isn’t no question of touching the basic principle of this game mode (a champion chosen randomly, and a confrontation on a single path, without jungle or neutral objectives), a redditer gave a another idea on the front of the stage, arguing that she would be perfect for this game modewhile giving more details on the lore of League of Legends.

A change of scenery? But yes !

The idea is presented in the title. Today the Abime Hurlant represents the most Eternal Freljord Glaciers, where Lissandra and the Watchers live. The proposal would therefore be to create multiple cards which would rotate between them, representing different regions of Runeterra. One of them even already exists, that of bloody docks of bilgewater. One could easily imagine a Jungle of Ixtal, an arena of Noxus, a street of Demacia, a forest of Ionia, a path of Mount Targon or even an oasis of Shurima. It would be an opportunity to see certain regions for the first time in the game, rather than through artwork, as beautiful as it is.

It would even be possible to push the concept to change the animals to feed (the poros in the Howling Abyss), so that each of them sticks to the theme of the region explored. the change would of course only be cosmetic, no question of giving bonuses to certain champions even if they are in their region of origin (nobody wants to face Azir in a desert of sand, for obvious reasons). The idea is really not bad at all, and would bring a bit of newness to a game mode that is still quite popular.

But why not in Summoner’s Rift?

It would indeed seem more logical to subject the main game mode of League of Legends to this facelift. Only, it would be much more complicated, and not only because the map is much bigger. We must not forget that the latter evolves during the game, mainly because of the different dragons. Not only would you have to create new maps and evolve them, which could lead to bugs. This is not the case with the Howling Abyss, since except with the poros, the players do not interact with the map.

For the past few weeks, the list of annoying bugs in League of Legends has been growing. But today, on this holiday Monday, we offer you a funny bug, which hardly interferes with the progress of the game. Here’s a bit of freshness in Summoner’s Rift.
