LoL: Before the MSI, T1 extends a key element of its team!

The world of League of Legends is becoming more professional every season, and while the competition is tough on Summoner’s Rift, so is the job market. The structures try to build a competitive workforce and the best players in the world are often highly courted. For this reason, it is important to lock your nuggets so as not to have them stolen, from one transfer window to another. It’s not fnatic who will tell you otherwise in Europe!

In Korea, T1 is a real institution and generally handles this kind of situation very well. Before the start of the MSI, the leaders have decided to pamper a key element of the invincible roster, by extending his contract for one year. This is good news for the player, since playing at T1 means having the certainty of fighting for titles (domestic and international). But it’s also good news for the team, which has secured the services of a little prodigy over the long term.

19 years old, but already a crack

Ryu’s Contract”Keria“Min-seok was stretched out until the end of 2022, but after his enormous performances at T1, the leaders do not want to take the risk of seeing him leave for free at the competition. 2022 in LCK, something quite rare for a Support, is now linked to the team until the end of 2023. This mark of confidence should boost him for the end of the season and we expect a lot from him for the MSI to come.

The pressure is real, but we trust Keria to manage it. Despite his young age, he has already played in several high-level international tournaments: Worlds 2020 (with DRX) and Worlds 2021 (with T1). Anyway, he plays with Faker on a daily basis and he has been facing the LCK monsters for several years. For many, he currently forms the best botlane in the world with his equally young friend, Gumayusi. Between them, they represent the future of T1 and more generally that of League of Legends. Grandpa Faker can sleep with peace of mind, succession is assured!

Before the end of the year, there will be two more cases to handle at T1

According to the dates provided by Leaguepediatwo other players will reach the end of their contract by November 2022. There is no hurry and there is still a lot of time, but the leaders will have to look into these two cases so as not to be taken aback.

  • Zeus : at 18 he is also part of the new generation of T1. He brilliantly replaced Canna during the transfer window and his aggressive style of play is doing wonders in the LCK. But despite his enormous potential, his status is not yet that of an untouchable. He must confirm to MSI and Summer Split all the good that we think of him, to be sure to stay within this mythical structure.
  • Faker : we no longer present the GOAT of League of Legends who is 25 years old and still valiant. His case is a bit special: we imagine that the leaders of T1 would sell father and mother to keep him until the dawn of time. But beware, in Korea everyone has to leave for military service at some point. We could therefore lose this legend unexpectedly at the end of the season… Unless a victory at the Asian Games arrives by then.

esport-lol

Astralis seems to be on the move at the moment on League of Legends. It must be said that the team has decided to part with at least 3 players during the mid-season, so replacements must be found. The red star would have decided to activate the Korean sector… amazing!
