Bel’Veth, the newest League of Legends champion, is wreaking havoc in Summoner’s Rift, especially at low ELO. At lower ranks, she has over 55% win rate. A situation that Riot Games wants to fix in the next patch.

League of Legends hosted Bel’Veth a few days ago, and as much to say that the result is not what Riot Games expected. The champion is currently unbalanced and has indecent win rates, especially in the lower ranks. A situation that the studio intends to resolve with the 12.12 patch, including many nerfs for the Empress of the Void – as August confirmed on Twitter.

All changes to Bel’Veth

Basic statistics

Basic attack range increased: 125 → 175

Reduced HP regeneration: 8.5 + 0.85 per level → 7 + 0.7 per level

Q – Void Charge

Value of charges decreased: 0.25-1.25% attack speed (at level 18) → 0.28-1% attack speed (at level 13).

You can now gain charges with big minions

Q – Void Charge

Fixed a Q bug that caused R’s raw damage on hit to double damage.

E – Imperial Maelstrom

Damage per decreased: 8-20 → 8-16

R – Infinite Banquet

Explosion damage based on enemies’ missing HP decreased: 25-35% → 25%.

Auto-attack range bonus decreased: 50-100 → 50.

True Form HP decreased: 70% → 50-70%

Fixed a bug where Bel’Veth could lose the R Health bonus if she devoured an Epic Nether Coral while already in her True Form.

“His high ELO win rate despite starting at 37%, is starting to hit 50%. His average win rate is 55% — and it’s still going up. That’s pretty strong for a champion who isn’t been out for a week.” explained August on his Twitter account.

For the lead champion designer, the problem is how powerful the champion is at low ELO. The problem may lie in its infinite attack speed, a mechanic that gains in power the harder the part – which is particularly the case at low ELO or the games are longer.

After leaks and the first official teaser, Riot Games has therefore confirmed the arrival of the 161 League of Legends champion. Check out Nilah, Joy Incarnate, which will play as ADC and is set to arrive in Summoner’s Rift with patch 12.12.
