As the Summer Split resumes soon in North America, Cloud9 may see Berserker miss the opening days due to passport and visa issues.

Riot Games formalized overnight the complete schedule of the LCS Summer Split which will resume on June 17 by an opposition between the defending champion, Evil Geniuses and Cloud9. This announcement should probably create some tension at Cloud9 given that the structure could see one of its players missing during the first meetings.

Indeed, during a recent stream of Nick “LS” De Cesarethe former coach of the structure, revealed that Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol had passport and visa problems. The South Korean ADC reportedly lost his passport which contained his visa inside and therefore could not travel to North America. Therefore, Berserker is in the obligation to redo a passport and a visawhich would take approximately five weeks in South Korea.

This is terrible news for Cloud9 who wants to play the title and qualify for Worlds with a modified roster from the Spring Split. Berserker’s absence should probably propel Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen as ADC, his initial role before a support roleswap during the last transfer window. As for the support, we have to wait for the final decision of Cloud9 but we could see Mitchell “Destiny” Shaw fulfill this role, he who was already playing in the LCS during the last Split.
