LoL: Change during the season at PCS Taran in Div 2

Photo: PCS Taran

Currently, the Lightnings of PCS Taran are locked in a bad dynamic in Div 2 of the LFL. Good spring surprise (top 4) despite limited resources, the team is having a much more complicated summer. It remains on a series of 6 defeats in a row and the structure is in last place in the standings (tied with beGenius and FC Nantes).

In this context, the dream of promotion to the LFL First Division seems unattainable. But while there are still plenty of games to play in the regular season, anything is still mathematically possible. You just have to finish in the top 6 to access the playoffs… and in the event of a fantastic comeback, it is possible to grab the title and win as many points as possible. But to hope for such a comeback, time is running out. The leaders are fully aware of this and they have decided to carry out a change with immediate effect.

Goodbye Tamoz!

Peter Antoine”Tamoz“Gau-Verdon has left the team and we are inevitably a little sad when we hear this news. This top laner is a well-known figure on the French scene, who has gone through many French structures (GameWard, Solary, TPAA. ..) His endearing personality and his good humor have made him a player appreciated by fans and spectators. At 25, he was no longer very young for a professional player, but he held the barracks well during the Spring Split It must however be recognized that it was more complicated since the resumption of the Summer Split.

The structure wanted to point out that Tamoz was a player with many qualities. But he no longer “corresponded to the team’s game plan”. Of course, the toplaner wasn’t the only member in trouble. But this departure could perhaps serve as an electroshock for the rest of the players. They must react quickly to secure the place of the structure in Div 2, at least, and why not aim a little higher!

Welcome Misanthiel

PCS Taran’s new toplaner has already been featured and it’s Anthony”Misanthiel” Garcia who inherits the position. He is 22 years old and he comes straight from the Mastercard Open Tour, the French semi-professional circuit. We imagine that he is very hungry, it is the first time that we have gives a chance to show off in a professional league.

This year, he participated in all stages of the MNT (Toulouse Landers Esport, Stelios, Team Alkya and MTP). Twice he finished in the points (top 8) and we imagine that his performances caught the eye of the leaders of PCS. The structure itself comes from the Open Tour circuit and it is not afraid to make bets to succeed. In any case, we can’t wait to see his Olaf in competition next Monday!

lfl-lol

France is extremely lucky to be able to count on both Karmine Corp and Team Vitality. On League of Legends as elsewhere, the two structures are struggling. Be careful though, live from the KCX 2, an ultra KC went too far in the trash talk.
