League of Legends Season 12 will end on November 14. Throughout the year, Summoners grind the ladder in an effort to achieve the highest ranking. Everyone has their own little goal, when some are aiming for Gold, others have much bigger ambitions in the highest levels.
And as at the end of each season, the studio rewards players ranked Gold and above with a War Hero skin also called victorious (not to be confused with the Championship skins which celebrate the end of the season as well as the Worlds of League of Legends They are purchasable in store at the end of each season and then become legendary (unavailable). After Blitzcrank last year, we finally know the identity of the champion — or rather the champion — chosen by Riot Games.
Sejuani’s turn
To choose the winning skin, Riot Games relies on several data. First, the studio looks at which champions have influenced the competition the most during the year (ranked games and professional matches). Once it has cleared a list of potential champions, it eliminates champions based on different criteria.
- If they already have a War Hero, Championship or Conqueror skin.
- If they occupy the same role as a recent War Hero skin.
- If they have a skin in the works.
- If they don’t own a lot of skins.
- If they are going to get a balance update soon.
With a presence of more than 31% this year, all competitions combined, it is therefore Sejuani who received the honors of the studio.
“If you’re ranked Gold or higher this season in Solo/Duo or Flex queues, you’ll receive the War Heroine Sejuani skin. I’ll try not to bother you too much with the details, but we’ll also distribute a few War Hero Sejuani chromas corresponding to each rank you’ve achieved above Gold, both Solo/Duo and Flex.
Additionally, everyone who completes their placement matches in Solo/Duo Queue, Flex Queue, or both will permanently receive Series 1 of Eternals for Sejuani, a Ranked Profile Icon for the highest rank you’ve reached. solo/duo and flex queue, plus a ranked profile banner border.”
The 2022 ranked season will officially end on November 14 at midnight. You therefore have exactly one month left to achieve your objectives or, at least Gold rank, to obtain the Sejuani Heroine of War skin for free.
