Played in five games, this final was simply extraordinary to watch and was marked by many flights of Baron and Dragon. Only, at the end, DRX was more convincing across all five gamesin particular thanks to its toplaner Hwang “Kingen” Seong-hoon.
The latter totally eclipsed Choi “Zeus” Woo-iyet considered the best player in the world in his position, in this final. He will also be elected MVP of this meeting, rewarding his performance in all five games. However, the highlight of this final is that Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu has finally won a world title, after ten years at the highest level. Accustomed to quarter-final defeats and disappointments, the ADC has finally managed to win the ultimate competition, something he fought for his entire career. An ideal end for a potential end of career this year.
On the side of his teammates, we will obviously note the performance of Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee, finalist for the third time in a rowand which will have brought to light Heimerdinger support. He will manage to take it in this final but above all, he concluded the fifth part with bard, a champion often overlooked in competition. He won this Sunday his second world title with a second different structuremaking him one of the few in the world to have achieved this performance.
