The last two LPL slots were filled this weekend with the LPL regional final.

End clap for the LPL. The Chinese league of League of Legends ended this weekend with the very last tournament of the Summer Split, the regional finals. A last bracket of four teams which allows two formations to obtain one of the precious tickets for the Worlds 2022. After JD Gamingplayoff champion, and TOP Esportswinner in season points, it was therefore EDG, RNG, Victory Five and LNG Esports, respectively 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in points, who competed.

A last small tournament which hardly changed the hierarchy. EDward Gaming first won against RNG (3:2) in the first game, taking the first sesame synonymous with access to the Main Event directly with his two previously qualified compatriots. Royal Never Give Up then joined LNG in the second qualifying round, their opponents beating V5 without a hitch (3:1). It was finally at the end of the game (3:2), that RNG recovered its pass for the world playins.

Worlds 2022 will begin on September 29. Go to our special file to find out all about it.
